Alpine Ai-net cable, unilink, j-link...the same?

Figured id just ask, even though not an alpine forum.

Does anyone know if the alpine ai-net cable is the same as the sony unilink and jvc j-link cable.

I was looking for a cable on ebay, and the sellers advertised this. I searched on google, but could not find a definitive answer.

I need a longer ai-net cable to connect a dva-5205 to the brain of the iva-c800.

Yes , thay all same . just used one sony unilink cable for my alpine set//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

just be careful, although the pinouts may match they may have different signals on them. An alpine may have say pin 5 & 6 as a twisted pair for audio left channel and those pins may be left ch plus and remote or something.
