Sold Alpine Ai-net (4) 12 disc changers + controller

Alpine AiNet CD Changer system:

- (4) CHA-1204 cd changers

- (1) KCA-400c controller

- (3)12 disc magazines

- (3) mounting brackets for the changers

this was part of a package of car stereo stuff that i bought from a guy, and this is not in my plans, so trying to sell. i know, cd changers, old technology, but there might be someone who might be interested in still using lots of cd's instead of compressed music that's popular these days. guy said these are never used, even though there are a few scratches on some of these units. that looks likely from being moved around in storage. some of the units has plastic shipping tabs and shipping tape on them. the magazines were still in the box in plastic. so these appear likely never used. 2 of the mounting brackets are still in plastic. so, basically we have 4 changers, only 3 magazines, only 3 brackets, the ai-net controller with all cables, and the instruction manual. never used, but cosmetically not new. i have no idea what this might go for. i'll start off at $200 for all. by the way, you'll need an alpine hu with ai-net capability. please check compatibility with your receiver.

well, that depends, now that i think about it. any of you know if that controller is required? i was thinking that it would only be needed for multiple changer installs, and for a single changer install, you can hook it up directly to an ai-net compatible hu. someone correct me if i am mistaken.

ebay currently has a kca-400c unit by itself for a current price of $128. the guy says he bought it on ebay for $175. i believe $200 for 4 changers plus the ai-net controller is more than fair. however, for 1 changer and the ai-net, i'll do $150. the other two changers with the magazine, i'll do $30 each. the last one without the mag, $20. given this new info, i am willing to separate per unit, for those who were previously interested.

I understand you first need a buyer on that combo to split up the rest.

will do. someone buy up the controller/changer combo, or even just the controller for $125 and i'll do the changers separately at $30 each. if worst comes to worst, i might just sell the changers separately, if i don't get a buyer for the controller...

there are 5 ai-net cables total, 1 for each changer and 1 that connects the controller to the head unit.
