alpine 9886 and 9887 illumination colors

Do the 9886 and 9887 both have changeable button colors ?

Or is it just the 9887 that has them?

The 9886 only comes in blue. I have no idea why.

i have the 9886 and its only blue...cant change them...and the graphics it has are white and black...kinda old school

The 9886 CAN switch if you have the Europe version (9886R) the Alpine 9887 changes as well and I love it.

5 Colors, Blue, Blue/green, Red/green, Red/orange, and Red.

man that sucks...i bought mine at best buy so i doubt its the european version...i just checked my box out...its not =(

Don't regret it. Its an AWESOME head unit, and the blue looks fantastic.

thats true...i just hate how the graphics it comes with are black and white...that killed it...does the 9887 come with color graphics? im just curious

~$300 street price for a DSP-driven deck (ie.9887) really isn't much. Given its capabilities, the MSRP is reasonable.
