the 9887 is leaps and bounds better. or the 9833, 9835, 9855, 9857. but i never liked the glide touch concept. that's why i have a 9887 in my car and a 9833 in my wife's car.

but how is it i already talk to the guy he will give me my money back or could i resale it for more i think i might have someone that wants it or would it be better than my Pioneer Premier DEH-P690UB. i only payed 120 for the deck with all thoses accessories

the 9885 is a solid deck but lacks the Bass Engine Pro features of the other models listed above. if you have no need for those features, it's not a bad purchase.

If you can't get a refund on the 9885, use a PXA-H100 imprint processor. It will give you 4 volt outputs and if you use the KTX-H100 IMPRINT Sound Manager you'll be amazed at how quickly & easily you can tune your system. It's not a PXA-H800, or any of the old PXA units, but I've used it with great success for customers not wanting to break the bank. Check the bottom of your radio though, it might not be compatible if your H/U was made before November 2007. It might be worth a call to Alpine, or your local Alpine dealer.

ehh its not about the money after u guys said 9887 is were its at i was thinking about picking one up but the guy called me ealier and i told him if he could wait till like 9 so i can think about it i might have someone interested in it dude could barley speak english thou or i just could barley understand him and he said ok and i just called him and he said i havent been home all day but hopefully usps didnt pick it up today dammit. oh well i think i still sell it for what i payed for it with all the extra stuff and what do you mean bass engine pro? im gonna be hooking a jl system 5 channels on it so wouldnt i be using it
