Alpine 9856 or 9853?

Crutchfield still carries the 9853. It has a 5-band EQ, Bass Engine Pro, and multi-color display. Those are the differences I have found so far.

Which should I get? I am tempted to spend the extra $60 to get those features on the older 9853.

i have a 9853, i like it & i like the glidetouch too. i think it has a 7 band eq tho too, not sure.

if you are using an ipod then go with the 56..

I had a 9853 and recently just bought a 9857 as i was sick of trying to control the ipod with the old ipod system..

if you want a used 9853 i can sell you my old one that i just took out of my truck yesterday actully. its less than a year old and from crutchfield so its still got some warrenty left on it..
