alpine 9855 help

Some folks disagree, but I say turn on MX.

Set your crossovers to HP 80hz or so.

Find a factory eq presetting you can live with.

Start messing with time alignment.

There are 2 different subwoofer settings Sub 1 and sub 2,

sub 2 is louder, but i think sub 1 is a better balance. I have no

idea what they do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Once it starts to sound a little better, tweak your own EQ settings,

Once it starts to sound a little better, tweak your own EQ settings,
sub 1 is stereo, sub 2 is for mono fyi.set it accordingly and i couldnt live with none of the fact presets,i adjusted all to my liking //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I listen to a lot of burned mp3's on disk and it seems to help.

Media Xpander
Alpine's Media Xpander restores musical life to MP3 files, FM radio, satellite radio, and CD/DVD discs. It "opens up" the sound (through expansion) and improves clarity (by restoring attenuated frequencies) without altering the tone, so your entertainment is more entertaining! The MediaXpander uses Digital Signal Processing to analyze fundamental frequencies, then calculate and generate the missing harmonics and frequencies lost to compression. The result is a richer, more "live" sound. There are three selectable expansion modes (plus an "Off" position), so you can choose the setting that sounds best to you. (Media Xpander-equipped receivers will even remember each source's settings.) MediaXpander is not a glorified loudness button; it's a great-sounding processor that will add to your enjoyment of the music.
Reading that description, it may be illegal in USACI //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
