Any one with a alpine unit please chime in on how I can turn off the internal amplifier on the alpine 9853 unit. I have a amp running my speakers now. Thanks

consult the manual? IDK... on mine its in one of the basic menus, it just says internal amp on/off, but mine is a panasonic...

I have the manual right next to me, and i searched the alpine website's pdf.. I have seen nothing.. of such.

Check pg 27 of the manual.

Something like

Hit "menu"

Select "setup:

Use the glide to get to "General", then push in on the glide touch

Slide until you see "Power IC"

Think you then hit the glide touch to turn this on/off
