Alpine 9835 problems - suggestions?

I just picked up a used CDA-9835 and for some reason I get no signal when the HU is in CD Player mode or Aux mode (iPod). It works fine when playing the radio. I did narrow it down to the RCA outputs sending out no signal when I switch from radio to CD or Aux. I know this since I use an Epicenter Epic-150 which only turns on when it receives a signal from the HU RCA's.

The HU has internal amp but I don't use any of them at all. I have the ability to turn off the internal amp. Whether on or off the problem still happens.

Any idea what could cause this? There are many settings for the HU to make sure the AUX inout is turned on, etc and nothing seems to matter. Any help for those familair with the 98xx line would be appreciated.

probably install error having to do with remote wire. im guessing you hooked only the power antenna wire instead of the remote wire...

Yes I am a moron. I had the wires crossed. First time I have ever done that. Thanks all.
