//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I just started today to put in a new amp I bought to run 2 4x10's ,2 5'' Polk
and 2 3'' Polk speakers. It all worked fine before with a cheap Pyramid( I know, I know) that I originally put on it. I got a deal on a Lanzar 420 Vibe so I was hooking it up simple right??
1st problem. Left side Speakers worked fine but the Right sides sounded really crappy at 1st.Never could clear them up. I started looking for a bad ground or exposed wire but didn't find any.
Now whenever I would take the Right front or rear speaker wires going into the Amp and connect them to thier channel it does weird things.Either it makes a loud buzzing/whining sound or makes a popping sound. Tried several channels no difference. It also reduces the sound on the Left side speakers that are cranking clearly.
I could make this post longer with details but lets see what ya'll come up with.I'd like to add that when the HU is connected I was checking ground and power for each set off speaker wires and I had NO power going to any of the speaker POS. wires????? I hooked up a 12v Power source and the HU ground and Power is good.HU comes on and does what is should. Is my HU taking a crap??? Also that **** fan in the back NEVER comes on and that HU gets REALLY F'n hot
Worked great for the last 12 months and the HU Int. amp is set to off. It was all fine with the Pyramid just underpowered. I rehooked up the Pyramid and it also did the same crap so I know it not the amp. Kinda seems like the more I did the worse it got and all i did was recrimp wires. No connection changes.
Any answers?????Please!!!
