Alpine 9811

I have also been seriously considering the Alpine 9811. I also was very interested reading up on the Clarion models 635/735 or possibly the 835 but Clarion makes it very difficult since dealers are far and in between. The closest dealer to me is like two hours away and I'm in a highly the populated area. There are several Alpine dealers around me.

There are several alpine dealers and NO clarion dealers? That seems very strange. Have you called clarion(or do they have a dealer locator on their website?).

How's the Alpine 9811? Does anyone have it? I'm comparing that to the Kenwood X869. I'm not sure if I want the dual panel thing so I was also looking at the X859.

The 9811 is great....although, for $40 more...get the 9813 - you'd like it a lot better.

Yes, Clarion does have a dealer locator, that's how I found how few there is around here and the two dealers I called said they can get any deck I want but did'nt have any of them on display On the other hand the Alpine dealers had all the decks I'm interested in on display for me to play with. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

ss3079 that's what im going for.....i found a shop that will

sell it for $320 out the door. Can't wait to get the HU.

Now i just need to order my 4 channel amp to power my

6.5 components front and one 8/10" sub. What sub should

i go for? Im not a bass head just want to have some good

bass in my system.

Im thinking of the bazooka RS804dv or RS104dv or MTX t410a 10".

I'll be powering them with a 4 x 65 amp, bridged 150 to the sub.

I used to have a bazooka 10" in the early 90's, i liked them

and the new one must sound much better like the one im interested

in, it has a dual voice coil. The MTX is a single mtx thunder4000 speaker.

Which will sound more better between the two?
