Alpine 9811 with Terk XM kit and AUX

ok i need help bad on this....i have the alpine 9811 HU with the TERK XM reciver kit. i wanted to also use my MP3 player through the AUX part. the problem im having is when i connect the ai-net wire to the TERK xm box. (the terk is connected to the back of the HU via the AI-NET port. the terk comes with the split cable to still use the AUX function. my prob is that when i play my MP3 player. my sub woofer won't kick any sound and the speakers are really high pitch and they sound really shitty. anyone have this problem?? the TUNER, CD and XM are fine....the the AUX isn't....

any help??
