I think my clarion is okay looks-wise, but it completely contrasts my dash, since it's aluminum and my dash is black plastic. The 775USB, though, looks like a turd from a robot.

yea i agree, some do look like crap. but the new MAX685BT looks badass IMO. i wanted to get it before i found out it only had 2V preouts. i know its not the biggest deal in the world but im not sure if i want it anymore

Pioneer FTL- their head units have that nasty ground problem.Eclipse FTL- CD problems

Alpine FTL - Units gone to crap

Kenwood FTL - History of being unreliable.

Clarion FTL - Their head units are ugly as sin.

only difference would be the gain on your amp would be up higher. But that's about it

Yes.
