so ive been saving up for a while now, and i have enough money, and i just wanted to run some things through you guys first. I have an 01' tahoe, and im putting in a 15" MTX 9515-44. I agree don't pay that much. I owned a 1200da and they are great amps don't get me wrong but if you want to spend 500 dollars you can get better.

i think that amp should work just fine with that sub as long as you wire it to a two ohm load, and it puts out rated power, i think if your looking to bump daily it should suit you fine

It will work fine if you wire it that way and yes they do put out rated power. There was an article somewhere I read a while back about them but who knows where I saw it.

I would stick with the class d since it will be effecient and put out more power. But like I said you would be better off taking a few days, do some research and get one out of the classifides. In the end you will save money, learn a thing or two, and probably end up with an amp that you will like. just my 2 cents
