Alphasonic Any Good???

I was just wondering if there amps are any good....bc they seem decent in price and the rms ratings are high..unless they are like those other shit companies that rate at 17V.....I wanna match my amps up.......2 mono or 2 channel amps and one 4 channel......How would they compair to Hifonics??

I sold my US AMPS VLX-400(well its on ebay now) bc it was just not going to work out bc i have a chrysler and its hard to get HO alts for them.

My system will be 2 or 3 Kicker L7 12s....

-all new interior spekers...alpine type S

-Pioneer avh5700dvd deck

-clarion eqs560 equalizer..7volts rms

-all 1/0 awg wiring

look into a colosus it isnt much smaller than the vlx in size but IIRC should be less of a current hog and only needs 12.5-13.5 volts to make 3200 watts or so. class a/b vs class d isnt much of a contest on the current side of it. vlx 400's are sweet though.

okay for the price then i think i will go with all hifonics amps probally a Bx2005D or a bx1605D.

unless i come across something better before that

i was thumbin through a caraudio mag and in the back where they have all the companies addresses, phone numbers and what have you, i noticed abahn, alphasonic, ichibahn, dub and xsite all have the same address (i just assumed abahn owns the other smaller companies, not 100% sure on that though)

that's right same company. I think the product is made in korea. I have an eq and ex3 crossover. it's decent. but compare to us amps...
