sadly i am selling my 13W7 with JL spec ported box and clarion 1500watt amp...

i will miss that obnoxiously too-loud-for-my-truck sub...good times, but 1000cash seems pretty good considering the prices that i have seen on here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

moving on, what should i replace it with, i have enough cash for a new sub, box and amp but i want it to take up as little space as possible in my trucks cab. i was looking at the Fi products but was wondering if anyone on here could help me make that decision.

depends what your looking for 1 15'' sub or 2 10's or 3 8's? when i hear pick up truck the first thing in my mind is sound splinter 8's and Ascendant Audio 8's...but comming from a 13w7 i know your not going to want to come down from bass..so maybe just do 1 btl or bl?depending on how much space you have i guess..

i am looking at a single 10 or 12 in a minimal box and wsa looking at sound quality rether than BOOM BOOM BOOM honestly i want an unloaded mtx thunderform box for under my rear seat and change the sub to some other quality 10"

a 10'' sq sounds good..you have tons of choices man from ICONS,,FI,AA,

sound splnter..since theres not too many i would try the icons..from people who have bought them seem to love them and dont have any complaints..

thanks! i've just ran into a new problem... the thunderform comes with a mtx t4500 sub (lame) and it has a mounting depth of 4.625 inches, the Fi SSD BL and BTL all have a mounting depth >6.00 inches. does anybody know the specs on the mtx thunderform FCS10? :shrug: I cant find anything specific on the net.

Man, coming from a W7 these dont really compare in output, but the Kicker CVT's sound pretty **** good. I have two 10's in about .6cu a piece and I have been impressed. Do a search for shallow subs, or trucks. I found this is what most people recommended. They were right. My thread titled just installed has pics.

I would go for a pioneer premier shallow mount. Very good sq and spl with very little space.
