Almost had a heart attack! stupid snow/ice/cold!

we had a storm this past weekend and i didn't drive my car to work til today and i didn't fully remove all the snow/ice from my car cus i was lazy...

turned on my system and it sounded ok until i turned it up moderately loud...there was this loud buzz/suficating sound coming from my subs on the peak notes, i was like, daym it, did i blow them?????

turns out there was a good amount of ice on my trunk between the trunk lid and my rear windshield and the subs was making the ice rattle on my trunk lid...

Just a question... Sorry to jump a lil off topic... Isnt it bad to run your subs when they are really cold???? Like if your car sat all night and you get it and warm the car for a min ect... then play them????

personally, i usually don't blast them up right away...i usually warm up my car anyways for a couple of mins before i get in and drive so thats good enough, even when listening, i don't turn it up until i listen to them for 5 or so mins...
