I'm upgrading the subs in my truck from 3 sony 10's to two almani S3-124F's. I have a 1000w sony amp but I want to upgrade to something else. Any suggestions on what amp would work best?

The attached pics are (in order)-

-Amp currently used

-Subs I am replacing

-Subs I will be using when the box is finished

-Information on the the box of the new subs

Well its all over rated. You should have asked for help before you got your subs.

Oh boy...Are you looking to upgrade your entire system? That's what I recommend, is changing out everything, even your new subs.

If you do stick with those subs, you might as well keep pimpin' the sony amp too. The amp doesn't do nearly 1000watts and those subs sure as hell can't handle 1000watts. Well I'm sure they COULD, but would fry in about 2 seconds. That amp and sub combo are perfect for each other.

IMO though, you should start over
