the sub looks like it's going to end up hitting the trim. seems a little toooo close to the rear of the trunk imo.

it comes close.. but dose not hit ... at all..

so after listining to it.. and a few friends listining to it... they say

justin ( built the box) said 147db

trevor ( my roomate allso a installer) 147db

i think i will be at least 145... i mean it's FUCKIN LOUD! and gets sooo low...

ported to 32 hz.. and it's flexing the windshield pretty good..

YES IT DOSE COME CLOSE... actually not as close if you look at it in person..

Don't get too hyped up about high numbers, you don't want to be dissapoionted when it doesnt hit 147. I'd say 140dB.

i will probally never hit 140 Trunk cars FTL

Not too difficult, a litle bit of a challenge for a daily setup. I did a 137.xx with a single 10" underhung sub with 750w in .6 cubes sealed. When I had my DD 9515 on a Treo SSX 1500.1 I did 141.2 with a crappy electrical, then put in a Soundstream XXX 6500, did the big 3, used 1/0 for power instead of 8 guage and I was probably doing mid 140's, never got it metered.

Now on music, it's a bit tougher. I'm aiming for above 140 on music at around 32 Hz.

I agree, numbers are just numbers. As long as it gets loud and satisfies you thats all that counts, unless you are competing then numbers are everything.

it dropped the rear about another 1/8th of an inch. i have adjustable coil over's.. im going to see how it rides and if it rides fine i will leave it. if not i will raise up the coil over's in the rear.

ok, so if you are in street stock or whatever the new class is, you will have the vehicle off and you will have to run outside the vehicle if its over 140db (at least thats how it should be, right?)
