all real silver quarter from 1964

how much would the current going price be for this quarter if i were to take it to a collector shop or a place that buys items like these.

Yea a single quarter isn't worth that much. Silver prices go up and down and would be profitable if you had a large bulk amount of coins or bars and caught the price high.

Um, you don't sell coins off as scrap.

You can buy an uncirculated 1964 quarter for $3-5, so a shop MIGHT give you $1.

Does it have a mint mark on it?

I always checked the cash register back when I worked at a convenience store for odd change. Quite a few wheat pennies and occasionally a silver quarter or some other odd coin.

Extremely. $5 for an uncirculated coin.

If yours has any sign of wearing, marks, discoloration, etc, value goes down.

my buddy worked at putt-putt and got a US Mint gold coin some kid stuck in a game and it got stuck...sold on ebay for $267
