lets see. this must be one of zenon's older boards or one that is not in their catalog.... their newest one does 4500 @1 ohm on 14.4 volts. Does this thing use SMT like the 3250.1? looks just like a 40.1 to me...

The amps just came out. Why would it be an older board? And as for the price of it. No clue. lol

bottom line is stay tuned ill take videos in Dallas at Usac world finals of my run and then you guys take 3 of them other amps and duplicate it, and ill say good job

The amp looks good, but without knowing the specific parts it is using, such as mosfets, drivers, and such it is hard to say it is the same amp. The board and the layout are common to the others pictured but that is the only thing that is certain.

I would like to see a real test done on it and know what they plan on charging for one.

ummm, the 40.1 does the same power and has been out for a while so its making me think its an older board, just maybe with the SMT. Because the 3600@1 ohm is not in the 2009 zenon catalog....

I wouldnt say ridiculously overpriced. Im pretty sure a Sundown 3000d and a RD 3250 were right around the same price range....

well my cactus pf600.1 and the ddm3 look just alike internally, but ill tell you this the cactus woops its *** all day long

I won 0-600 pro last year with a 159.5 on 1 ab 200.1 and 4 powermaster batts, and 10 L5 10's in a 1991 crx and the cactus kills that amp as well

so just because something looks the same doesnt mean it is I see alot of people on here have alot to learn about amps as well as testing them

the 3250 should be a bit more then the 3000d because the 3250 uses SMT. But RD has a history of over pricing their stuff a bit...

Tommy you know the game man pricing varies depending on who wants them, and you being who you are Im sure you would be rather impressed with the price, but those who are not in the lanes pushing products as well as winning with them well yeah they dont get the same deals untill they prove themselves and this is where the hate some into play.

Tommy Erik Hoss knows me and my mad frantic testing on equipment, and ill assure you they are more powerfull than the 40.1's are. I loved my 40.1's but as an amp thats not made anymore I can see it being difficult for repair so i opted for these instead man

Why would RD Audio ( Which I like there stuff) Make a amp that is not really needed.. I mean they have a 3000 watt amp 5000 watt amp 7000 watt amp... Were does this fall into there lineup? Unless they are getting rid of the 5000 watt amp or one of the others.,,, If anyone wants a great amp then go get RD's 7500.1 amp... That thing is a beast and im sure its right around the same price as the 9.0.. I just dont get why RD would build this amp..
