The all new RD audio Heavyweight 9.0 amp! I am a proud owner of one! Although I dont have it installed yet! Should be up and running in about 1-2 weeks! Now on the the Specs and pics!
Specs taken off the RD Site. From what I understand this amp is WAYYYYYYYYY underrated and should see around 5k at .5

RMS power, .875 ohms mono 4500

RMS power, 1 ohm mono 3600

RMS power, 2 ohm mono 1800

RMS power, 4 ohms mono 900

ok i read about 5 pages of this bs. and what i got out of all this is that this forum is a joke. and i dnt knw why everyone is haten on jeff in the and the pricing of rd. pricing is based on the competitor its a whos who time of thing. steve from rd is a great guy. and i got 3 9.0s comen.

There were still some people who stayed classy, Jacob/sundownz being one. He addressed the "Bah...everyone from team sundown is hatin on me, bah" situation the way it should, with a straight-forward, level-headed response...not flipping $hit like some people...

yeah its over its just a shame everytime someone seems to talk good about rd over here its gets over ran by people with 1 track minds its happend in the past and seems to be what will happen everytime sad really sad.

You have to remember that RD was pushed so hard over here when it first came out that people really got sick of anything dealing with RD.

Plus in the early stages a lot (basically all) of their reps were immature and bashed everything non-RD.

I know that this has changed fairly recently, but the actions of a few people early on left a lasting impression on this entire forum.

now see thats a great explanation, and now I can see where some maybe salty over that, but in retrospect they have backed it all up to this point im thinking, There is a fine line between confident, and cocky so understood. Im both actually, and itsjust been me for the 38 years I have been alive.

Like I said I have heard good things about Sundown, and I know great things of RD so all I can say is go with what ya know but maybe one day another company may shock you in there results.

The fact of the matter is- on the forums a LOT of people run sundown. so of course you are going to have alot of them in any given thread with a lot of posts... I have always liked rd's products.. and it seems steve has stopped being the MAJOR douchebag he was (or at least hiding it better, and i would guess the latter) if he would only drop that asshat kevin holden at low-hz, i would gladly run the stuff (or even if there was another source for them)

So has anybody accually tested the rms watts with a dmm and clamp meter that this 9.0 puts out?if so how much?
