all ALPINE system ridiculously low powered speakers (not sub)

Either the gain on the AMP is set wrong or your HU or other crossover setting is limiting the mids and highs to the speakers you want them to go to.

Check all/any crossover or bandpass settings first, then see if your front channels have a gain setting that can be turned up. (make sure you set the gain properly, it is not a volume knob).

If this doesn't help you might have a bad Amp or bad channels on your HU.

EDIT: Also agree that if you paid for install have them fix it first (or try).

you PAID them to install it.

They gotta cover there work. Something is obviosly wrong. Dont go messing with stuff untill you take it back in. They might ***** saying that you caused the problem.

So take it to them FIRST.

the front of the amp (not the side where the RCA's are) is a little screw you can take off with a real small allen key.. you take that off and all the controls are under there.. do that, and then take a pic of it and post it or just tell us to what everything is set at!!

Thank you all very much for the prompt replies, I'm going to take it back to them today. And if they refuse to fix it, I'll take the advice of the last poster, and take the cover off to get to the controls. For the life of me, I couldnt find out how to adjust the gain on that amp.

I'll check back in shortly to let you know how it works out
