Align Doors?

So my doors got screwed up so I bought a parts vehicle and swapped all 4 doors over cause the new one had power windows/locks and leather trim.

For whatever reason I can't seem to get them lined up. I've got them pretty close but they just don't close right like the original ones.

Any idea what a body shop would charge to get them lined up correctly? They're all mounted on the vehicle I just can't get them straight.

how many people did you have helping you? ive done a few and extra hands make a huge difference. also what kinda shape was the car in the doors came off of? (checking hinges arnt bent or something)

May even have to replace the bushings. I had an S-10 a couple years back. Door sagged, replaced bushings, golden.

You may have to adjust the striker if they're not shutting all the way or you have to slam them.

I've done this before bro just me and my dad and use a floor jack with either a 2x4 or 4x4 whichever you might have lying around. Here's what to do bro.

Step 1: Before taking off the door hinges/bushings/pins whichever you are doing Make sure that you have a jack with a 2x4 or 4x4 underneath it also maybe put a towel over the 2x4 or 4x4 so that it doesn't fck up the bottom of your door.

Step 2: Once you have this done and propped up how you like it start the process of taking out the pins. Ok now your going to notice on the pins sometimes there stuck real good in there so here's something easy you can do. Take a die-grinder cut the pin in the middle once you have that piece taken off so look's like you have to seperate pins in there now.

Step 3: Now take a flat head screwdriver or something flat up againist bottom of the bottom push it up againist it and use a hammer to start hammering the pin so your hitting it up(notice:this is a timely process).

Step 4: Do the same as step three but instead of hitting the pin up hit it down.

Step 5: Make sure before you pull off them hinges you know exatcly how they go on so take a picture even if that helps(this helps later when you go to put em back on.)

Step 6: Make sure that the other person your having help you is holding the door steady as your doing step 3 & 4.

Step 7: Line the door back up with the jack you will have to take the jack and move it up and down alot and move it back and forth to line it up just right(also a timely process but better then payn a shop).

Step 8: Once you have the door lined up PERFECT checking it put those pins & new bushings in(some wonder do i have to replace both YES you do because if you don't your pin will not have a tight fit because the bushings are worn down.

If you need anymore help bro just lmk. Best of luck to ya bro:D.

x2 on what he said check the striker also may either have to be adjusted to fit how the door lines up now but shouldn't have to be. Or might as well replace it since don't wanna half *** it.
