ALERO OWNERS...or anyone with the dreaded trunk rattle

i own a 00 olds alero...i have a jl 1000/1 amp pushing 2 12's...there is a good chunk of my hood that juts out a good 1/2 inch to 1 inch and rattles almost louder than my bass...ive taken it apart countless times to try tightin it, give it bigger screws, put in padding...but my rattle just wont friggin leave

Get sound deadener. You can get the Dynamat Extreme hood kit, it's about $50.

unfortunately that was the "padding" i put in

2 rolls of peel n seal and a can of spray foam, all you ever need, for any trunk. and cheap!

If you go the $$ use second skin though
