The '05 rap music was pretty much "car-bass" music. Some good R&B came out but a lot of "club" R&B also appeared. I don't really mess with hip-hop - so the only hip-hop album I've heard was Be which was deeso.

I would have to say Esham A.1. YOLA was by far imo one of the best rap albums if your into acid rap, plus it fuggin slams and the bonus disc with a video for every song was really cool too. Other than that juelz santana and lil wyte are really lyrical and i like that in a rapper, but besides those three nothing else was really good in the mainstream world other than albums with good beats and such.
