Air flow in a flase floor

I'm going to be making a false floor shortly, and I have a few questions.

Is it better to have a large space with fans blowing along the heatsink/fins out of the floor via a vent?

or is it better to build a casing around the amp out of MDF inside the false floor, as I think this would make the air flow stronger and direct it more toward the amp.

Any input?

I'm planning on having to cool a zed kronos 250x2 and a jl 1000.1 slash @ 4 ohms under my false floor. Any ideas on fan placement?

I would have one fain doing a cross blow on one side or more. and then a set of exit fans on the other. If you box in the amps. you are just making it an oven. even if you put a fan closer and more direct to the amp. its still building up heat in a smaller air space. so let it have alot of room to breath with a slight breeze lol
