Long story short.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I bought my hummer with 1000 miles on it from a friend. He took it to a shop and had subs and an amp installed with an underdash 1/2 din EQ.

I wanted some more rear fill so I built a box for (8) Boston 6x9's and added a 4 channel Punch amp. I ran a set of RCA's from the EQ to my amp mounting position under the rear seat. I went to play them and all I was getting was low frequency.

I went to tracing down the issue following the rca's and found a hi/lo converter in the back of the center console connected to the harness on the Bose amp. I plugged my amp directly into the converter and all I got was low freq. I then procedded to put the converter on every set of wires on the harness. I found a hi freq signal but still know signal I felt was full freq.

The truck is a lease so I want to keep the stock speakers and bose amp intact. I know peripheral GMAH24B is the kit they make to do it for $140. Does anyone have any conections on getting this cheaper or any other way of doing it???

By the way How do I get rid of this ****ed engine whine:crazy: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif Do I run a ground all the way to the battery???

I have an H2 and I think I paid $120 for my adapter off eBay. That's the only way you can do it to keep everything in tact. It was an adapter from PAC.
