$3200 huh.... Right on....
What amp did you get?
3200 i lied i havent bought the amps yet.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

sorry but i was all excited last night lol

as you know the receiver was $1000

but the girl gave me the okay on some rotel amps dunno for sure if i should get those ones yet...

so what do you recomend b&w looking for 250-350 watts of clean power per channel i wouldnt mind buying a couple of mono blocks but i prefer one amp that can handle 5.1 since i doubt im going 7.1 soon but who knows lol but for real i doubt it i dont think any of my hd-dvds are encoded at 7.1

I was going to say something along those lines....

That RB-1095 is a beast of an amplifier... I have the RB-1080 which is the two channel version of that monster and I absolutely love it. Look around at local dealers to see if you can find a display model that they are willing to sell, could pick one up cheap!

That Denon is probably one of the only Denon's that I would buy. For a grand its not too bad.

Also, what I do (since two channel is what is most important to me) I got the RB-1080 then use my old receiver as my amp for my surrounds and center channel. You could save some money get the RB-1080 then just use the amp in the Denon to power the center/surrounds if you are looking to save some money....

well the most important speakers to me are the two fronts and the center. i watch a good amount of movies and also listing to music the surrounds arent that important lol

so any way i can wire that to a two channel amp?

I have the 3805. I paid a grand as well. My favorite feature is the Denon Link which I use with my Denon DVD player. Of course I'm not switching over to HD-DVD or Bluray for a while since I don't even have a HDTV yet. I still love standard DVD.

Yep, you can just go "Pre-Out" L&R to the two channel amp.
Then on the Denon just turn speakers A&B off since A&B are the two front channels...
Might want to verify that as on my 3802, which is a few years older, A&B is actually for 2 sets of surrounds. Not sure if that's been changed on the newer model.

And I agree with B&W_EE, get an amp for your LCR and use the receiver's amp to power the side/rear surrounds since they have much less source material and your front stage offers the biggerst impact, especially the CC.

mine is 7.1 and does have two sets of rears and fronts but also a and b and can be swithed vice versa

What mlstrass was referring to was on some of the other Denon receivers you didn't have a choice of front speakers (A & B). My 3805 for instance only has one set of front speaker outputs. But the 3805 has surround A & B plus surround back channels. Where as your 2807 has FRONT A & B but only 1 set of surround speaker outputs and a set of surround BACK outputs. The difference being that on the 3805 I can switch between 2 different surrounds and your 2807 cannot switch between them.
