Do subs stiffen back up after not being played?

This seems like logically they would stiffen back... but figured id ask.

It gets softer once borken in cuse its brand new parts. once its broken in it stays broken in, it cant just magicaly become new and stifen up.

Suspension will never stiffen back up. You can actually lay a little bit of fiberglass resin on the spiders and will help stiffen it.

Sounds risky, like "not getting an even coat would thrown the woofer out of alignment" risky.

I found this scientific explination......by some guy, not me.

"The outer ear collects and focuses the sound. The sound then causes the eardrum to vibrate -- transferring the signals to the bones of the middle ear. Pretty much, you get used to the frequencies your subwoofers play.
