Affordable amp for Type R??!

Well right now I have a single type R in my truck with the Bazooka EL1500 amp to it. I really hate this amp. My friend on the other hand has a single type R in his eclipse and has a mtx mono amp that is giving it 600 watts RMS that he cought at Circuit City for 500$ F that, ne one know of a good at that will put out 600+watts at 2 ohms for around 200$?? Lol i can tell this board loves the JBL amps. Where is the cheapest i can buy one besides iksound cuz i live in florida and so does ike and id have to pay tax :/ Does that amp put out 600 watts rms at 2 ohms?

I dont love jbl amps and i never see myself running one. you want a cheap amp that does the job... JBL is probably the thing you need then.

Well how realiable are these amps? Like do they last long? Also is the RMS 600 or the MAX is 600?

600 RMS at 2 ohm, 300 RMS at 4 ohm.

its rated at 600rms but it actually does 650, 675 rms.
