Aeroport XXX question

I am having a ported fiberglass box built for my '05 12" XXX. The box will be about 2.5 cubes after sub displacement. The box will be ported with aeroports. My question is, how many aeroports will I need and what size? I have never had any experience with aeroports. I did some searching but wasn't able to find the answer I was looking for.

2-3 4in would be good...but their gonna have to be long to get a low tuning...just my opinion.

Well, I am going to have him tune it to 32hz. He asked me what size port I needed and I didn't have a clue!

Can anyone else confirm this? 2-3 4" ports should work for me?

used the calculator on psp-inc and came up with the following...

3 4" aeros

Straight Length Port required 36.76

Flare Length Port required 37.76

I think 36.76 is going to be to long. Would it sound alright with 2 4" ports?

Mann yehh thats the lony problem with goin with that small a box with aeroports they gonna need to be a lil long to get the tuning you want.

2 would be fine...i had 2 for my 15 R in all my vids
