Well im having tons of fun messing mith my HD315 and my Orion 2500D with my first SPL build but i cant help the urge to check out some DD stuff. im going to throw 2 DD9912s in a box thats somewhere between 4 and 5 CF tuned to 40. i want to try Aero ports but im very new to round ports. i see some people with the whole tube inside the box so all you sii is the round opening externally and some people have the tube outside the box pertruding out. whats the difference in the 2 ways of doing it? i dont have a lot of room as its going in a trunk car. they DDs will be run off of 2 orion amps, a 200A alt, and some yellow tops. im broke till next month so i wanted to get started on building the box. any help on the subject would be awsome. thanks guys.

Im havent used aero's myself but Im geussing some of the reasons they have them coming out of the box is so there isnt as much port displacement,, and the port length can be longer,, so it does hit the sub depending on box size

Also, with external ports, you can easily change the length of your ports for changing tuning frequencies. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
