Hi Guy's, just got myself a new motor so need to build a new enclosure for my old JBL GT3-10 sub but this time I want to build a ported box as my last one was sealed & I was never over happy with the way the sub sounded. I got box plans from JBL but it's for a wedge shaped enclosure which won't fit to well in the back of my truck so was wondering if a regtangular box would work just as good ? JBL also states to use a 2"x 4" long round port & wondered if it would make muck difference using either a 1.5" or 2" slot port ? The enclosure volume for this sub is 40 litres or 1.41ft3 I think it is just wanting as much output as I can get from this sub which is going to be powered by a Kicker 250.2 amp

Cheers & sorry for the newbie Q's
