Advisable to put 18s in xtended cab ranger?

I measured and figured about 13 cubes in an xtended ranger. I would like to upgrade a friends truck to 18s if possible and/or feasible. We will have a bit more than 2Kw to work with.

I was figuring SXs, TC9 configs, or BLs. And around $500 or less for subs. May go used and get recones in the right case.

I also want to face the subs foward near floor behind seats for resistance and the port up to ceiling.

Any suggestions on choosing the right config for this install is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Ben

thats what were contemplating doing in my friends ranger... a single 18 is the way to go.... we were contemplating using one of my 9917s in there.... its for sale because he didnt have the cash to buy it 750+ shiping on it

Why is 2 15s or 1 18 the loudest?

I thought I had enough volume and power for 2 18s...

Ill take your word(s) for it though. I just want to get the best bang for the buck.

I wasn't thinking super subs you know. Just 1Kw rms.

I hope it will be loud as f---.
