adjusting question

i have a pioneer deck 2900 and when i swapped out my HIfonics zeus amp for a diamond audio d1 400.1 amp. it didn't sound the same. I have a diamond audio d3 12 subwoofer. my settings on my headunit is : Lows 0 mids 4 and highs 4 subwoofer lever 100:6 with everything else off . my amp setting is gain almost halfway max out and bassoost 0 and the x over thing at 40hz. any recomendation on what should i do for now until i get my new headunit. btw my box is 14x14x14 sealed
