Adire, JL, or... what?

Quoted from 1RD

Why bother getting anything since you live in such a bad area. Come on really people will steal anything given a chance. What differance does it make what brand of sub you have. If it sounds good and you like to let everyone know it sounds good then you had better park it in a garage...

Whats with this weight issue, 200lbs???? Does that include you, what is it a race car??? If so why would bother putting in a sound system in a race car???? Your worried about someone stealing your subs but not your car.

Well, I live in actually a GOOD area. I leave my car unlocked most of the time and am not too worried to leave my windows down, system on, VISIBLY SLAMMING AWAY in most parking lots, without being too worried...

However a friend of mine had a blown JL W6 in his front seat and someone busted his window to steal it. Go figure.

I want to keep the weight down for the obvious reason that the less weight the more speed.

I want no more than 200-225 lbs- amps, speakers, boxes and wiring.

*DOUBLE POST* Bwhuhahaha! (Shutting up)

I think I will look into the Bhrama (Returned EFFEDI's (sp?) pm.)

I have had the Adire pic of the Bhrama basket on my desktop for the last 6 months so what the hell (see attachment)? I think I can sneak under the two hundred pound mark if I have a small enough box. The amp weighs about 18lbs I think. THat leaves roughly 90lbs+ for HU, speakers, amps, eq's etc.

It would help if the previous owners could ship the **** car so I could get some measurements to whether or not I can actually FIT a Bhrama...

Say you have any pics of that thurr monster sub? Is that "it" in your sig by any chance???

Man, my parents flipped put when they figured out that i was buying MORE stereo stuff... Just bought a pair of 4x6's from Joeboxer and my mom got all pissed off. I only spent $30 on those... They are going to feel all sunshiney warm inside when I get this! (I know I will {When and If, of course...}) Haha!

I'm almost 20 years old. I need to get outta the house.

I'm all excited now. Brrrahma!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrahma! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Well...Effendi's Bhrama tempts me seriously. If anyone can tell me why I SHOULD NOT get the sub, say so. The bill for meafter all the extras comes out to $350

For those who skipped my massive text blocks...

-I will be putting it in the place of the rear seats (FIBERGLAZZ) of a Porsche 924S.

-SQL "CHEST CRUSHING BASS" with about 2-4 cubes, possible inverted mounting. (mightget ported, depends on how the 'glassing goes (note: I have never done anything with fiberglass before. This will most likely be a problem)

-800x1rms at 4 ohms or 400x2rms at 2ohms (Precision Power Amp)

Any pictures anyone might have of a Mark I Bhrama would be sweet...

Guide me car audio Gods.

Brahma is the best sub I've ever owned but I have not owned all......yet!

When you are comparing the best of the best you really cannot go wrong, I do like the XBL^2 technology because it makes sense and you can hear the difference at higher volumes. The Brahma sounds the same at 10% of it's max as it does at 100%. It plays very loud and clear, but remember that the sub is a small percentage or what makes the system sound good. Crossover points and other tweaking makes a huge difference. Give a sub a sheety box and it will sound sheety.
