Find some quality old school pieces....most new stuff is such crap unless your planning on going really high end...quality older pieces can be found in the same price range as new chinese takeover junk...most of todays older brands are about power acoustic quality...

Yeah I was bummed to find that out. I'll definitely be picking up older discontinued amps but weary about older used speakers.

I'm glad companies like sundown, fi and IA are still doing their thing though.

Forum traffic has picked up almost 50% since I got back on here...so some folks seem too....Hopefully we will see bigger numbers here making it a much better place...still a far cry from 500 or so members a night like the old days ...but still an improvement ...
