I have a Pioneer AVHP-6400CD. It is a great radio with some decent built in features.
I am looking to add onto the system. It has stereo audio and composite input. It also has a 26pin RGB input for Pioneer navigation unit. I can also attach a rear monitor to the unit to view dvds on the second monitor. Finally it has XM radio ready inputs.
My questions are: What would be the first add-ons to the system? I am interested in adding a CD changer to the system. Do I go with a Pioneer and us the IP-Bus integrated system, or do I install it using a secondary brand? Don't I lose a input connection. Are Pioneer changers crap?
I am also interested in adding a single disc DVD player to the system. Any brand recommendations? I know, I could do a dvd changer but it is more cost effective to do two seperate components.
Any good add on navigation units for the Pioneer?
What about amp suggestions?
Any requirements for more power?
I have about $1000.
