Ad-ware=WTF?!?!

i have had problems with spykiller. Ad-aware has picked up things that spykiller didn't. I work at a computer store and ad-aware has made us lots of money. Before we would have to format a machine to get the $hit out. Things such as new.net would get in a screw up the ip and netwroking stuff. Now ad-aware takes it out in 5 mins instead of 2 hours to redo a system.

there can be no one thing to get it all. this is what i do. adaware 6 came installed on my computer, as did spybot. so i run adaware twice to get the general stuff, spybot twice to get the smaller things, then since twisted gave me spyhunter, i use that twice to pick up the really little parasites. spy hunter doesn't get the main things like adaware does, and vice versa.

I have ad-aware 6 pro, pop up stopper pro, norton antivirus 03, spyware blaster, mru blaster, spyware destroyer, hijack this, and x-cleaner - and things still seem to get through them.

ok hmmm o yeah, most spyware comes from websites that finds loops in your internet explorer code, but because you siad it i wont downlaod anything so i wont have spyware right????

I like the new version of spybot. After I run that I use Bazooka to manually remove every trace of spyware. Takes a long time but I haven't found anything that can clean everything off of your computer. BHODemon is a pretty good program to try too. Those BHOs can be a pain to remove. Once you get rid of all the spyware download Opera and get rid of Internet Explorer. Supposedly Opera won't get spyware. I just got it yesterday so I don't know for sure yet. Nice browser though. Get a serial off of some p2p to get rid of the ads in it.

now THAT is the way, and bazooka does own just about any other type of removers. it's just not as automated, used to use that a while back. i have opera as well but couldn't get as comfortable with it as mozilla. mozilla has given me zero problems/ allowed no spyware through for months now.
