I have a produck called whisper matt . Im a tile setter and its something we use under tile to deaden sound . I have around 300 sq ft of it and its around an 1\8 inch thick has a kinda rubbery sticky back and has kinda cloth top , it also comes with a glue that you wipe on surface first and let dry then lay the matt on it. If I was to use it. ,it would be just inside my. vechicle . And use dyna matt or 1 of the other brsnds under the hood. What do you think.?.?.?. Im looking for a good clean sounding system. And a rattle proof vechile. Would like to hear your thoughts good or bad
