acne cream that works?

Well, lately acne has started to appear on my face and basically I want it gone. I bought a couple of acne creams but all they do is dry up my skin and make it worse. Does anyone know of a good acne cream that actually works? Is proactiv good?

I know 4 people that used proactiv, worked great for two of them better than anything else and the other two it did not work.

I used some Mary Kay stuff about 2 years ago. Two different items. One is like an alcohol liquid you put on your face. After that, you have this cream stuff you put on your acne.

Actually helped quite a bit.

start using accutain(however it's spelled). It's expensive but worth it.

My face used to be horrible. I had tried literally everything on the market(proactive included), and nothing worked. I starting doing accutain in 9th grade, and after being on it for just 4-5 months have had ZERO breakouts since, and literally just a handful of total pimples in the last 7-8 years...best thing that I've ever done.

Get a lotion that will hydrate your face so it doesn't get dryed out. I use proactiv. Pretty good stuff if you ask me, never really had it bad, but now it's great.

I use this stuff called Cetaphil. It's really gentle on your skin and cleans it nicely. Best stuff I've used yet.

I use the medication Differin along with a salicylic acid cleanser on my face and a benzoyl peroxide cleanser on my back. Get an aloe vera and/or vitamin E hand lotion (I REALLY, REALLY like the St. Ives Aloe & Chamomile) to put on after each time you use one of the medications/cleansers. The back acne is by far the hardest to completely get rid of unfortunately.

That has nothing to do with acne as a lot of people believe

If you can afford it or have good insurance go to a dermatologist
