you have a h/u pushing 160 watts???....heh.....what kind is it cause thats kinda unlikely....now if your adding all 4 peak channels you might be able to get 160 max when in actuallyt it'd be more like 60 rms....good luck.

For your setup, you should use at least 8 gauge power and ground cable. Allthough 4 would be a little better for future expansion. You will need an inline fuse placed on this power cable within 6 inches of the battery to protect your car and your system in the event of a voltage spike. Remote wire should be at least 16 gauge and kept isolated from any other power or signal wires throughout the car. Lastly, a quality set of RCA interconnects to run from your HU to your amplifier. - Usually arround 20ft is a resonable length for power cable and arround 18ft for RCA and remote wires. The overall length will be contingent upon your install.
