Absolute PDEB12BK for a pair of SA-12D4's?

Still new around here so bear with my tarded questions. This ported box is only .05ft^3 larger than what sundown recommends, would it sound the same? Should I mod the box (extra material inside) to hit 1.75ft^3 exactly or just have a custom box built?

I'l be putting my Earthquake DBX12's in this before I get the D4's

Subwoofer displacement will take up some of the internal volume. If you do not like the sound of the sub because you think it is too big for some reason, you can add 2liter bottles or something and see if it improves the sound to you.
