Absinthe

Whatever you have is not real, I can almost garuntee, so a lot of it is just plain ol' mental //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

lol, the thing is, the real stuff is illegal, and if you can find absinth with the origonal ingrediants, it is most likely in Czech or Greece, and it is not distributed and labled.

Absinthe is like foreign moonshine pretty much.
It is actually different, the real absinth contains some halicinagen(murdered that one huh) that actually causes some serious problems for those who consume it. So moonshine, while it ****s you over, is not quite the same.

i just noticed the glass letters on the back bottom.

Yea, while it is still from the Czech, the product is still illegal, so I highly dount this contains the origonal ingrediants. But it is still perty good stuff.

First, there was a thread on this awhile back ago that was rather informative for a CA.com lounge one. Second, to reiterate, absinthe is just an anise based beverage that includes wormwood in the distillation process. Wormwood contains thujone which is a mild hallucinogen that is in such a minute quantity in absinthe that the alcohol will mess you up before it will. Wormwood is also a toxin that has been used for centuries as a pest control, but like most poisons, won't hurt you in small enough doses.

Bottom line: Absinthe is overpriced and wildly exaggerated. Drink Ouzo, Pernod, Absente, Versinte, Raki, or some other anise based liquor if you like the taste but don't want to spend $100-$300 a bottle.
