i have the Oz ME comps, big azz xover. had the comps installed and the installer put them in the doors, but i moved them to the trunk

but would having them in the doors day after day jack them up from closing the doors all the time (the vibration/shock of closing the doors)

just wondering

before i knew much about installation ect.. i had a local place do mine.. they put my crossovers in the doors and i didnt think anything of it... but i'd keep them in your trunk cause the ones they put in my doors survived the vibration and shock but rusted to shit from rain...

and i always wanted those comps.. i like my rainbows but sometimes wish i saved a little more and got those =(

best place for em is in the dash somewhere less wire more signal strenth and they wont get jostled around to much find a spot under the dash and whalla screww em in
voilà

interj.

Used to call attention to or express satisfaction with a thing shown or accomplished: Mix the ingredients, chill, and—voilà!—a light, tasty dessert.

why have someone else install them if you're just gonna take the doors back apart and redo it?
they installed the whole component set. i didnt want to be the one to cut my door all up, i let them do it.... they did a nice job

and didnt think to move the xovers until after the fact

thanks eveyone

I have had my crossovers mounted on my doors for about two years now and there is no rust or any loose components. I have mine screwed into a 1/4" mdf sheet that covers a hole and the door panel hides them well.

Still running wire from the amp. I'd rather have the long double run of wire for the tweet and mid (half the resistance overall) than running all the power through a single run only to be split later.
Ding ding. 2 > 1.

Best place for passives is in your closet, while you run your system active. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
Mine will be heading this route soon. Soon. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
