Hey guys, I am about to buy two of these subs "Diamond D315D2 D3 15". I am wondering what you guys think about the woofers? I am going to be running these subs with my current amp which is listed below. I hope that these are a noticeable improvement from my 12"s while still running on the same amp. One of the members here on the forum is going to sell me a good ported box on here so I'm not worried about that. I just want some input on how the upgrade would be. Thanks!

The amp I used with the 12's and will be using with the 15's: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_108R1600A/Infinity-Reference-1600a.html?search=infinity+1600a&tp=115

Thanks again buys, let me know what you think.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Alright, awesome I can't wait. I'm going to order two of them tonight. Any other comments?

The website says that these are "This item has been factory refurbished by Diamond Audio. It carries a 90-Day manufacturers warranty from Diamond Audio." these should still be on good shape, and working order though right?

they could def take a bigger amp
That's going to be my next upgrade, but for know I'm going to have to run them for a while on the current amp that I have. They should still give me a big kick though right?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Yes, those diamonds are nice subs. I'm curious, how were those polks? I understand they get loud in that box.
Thanks for the input. I love the Polks to DEATH! I wouldn't give them up. They sound extremely good and get VERY loud.. However, I wanted something a little bit louder and that can produce the low notes louder and better. If you were thinking about the Polks then do it, no doubt the best 12"s I have ever had. I'm partially doing this upgrade to help out a friend to get a good price on the Polks as I'm selling them to him, but to also get me something better. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

nice subs. and like everyone said, you need a bigger amp. The amp you have now will be ok, but upgrade soon. 300ea. is starving them of power.
Will do, can anyone recommend me an amp that will be able to power these? Preferably with a remove bass knob. I just hope these will slap pretty good until I can buy a new amp.
