About power capacitor

Alpine CDA-9887 H/Unit

Alpine Type-X 13REF 5-1/4" component (Front)

Alpine Type-X 17REF 6.5" component (Rear)

2 12" JL audio w1v2 subwoofers

Alpine MRP-M500 amp

Alpine MRP-F300 amp

Just wondering with all these set up do i need power capacitor? because sometimes when my subs hit my car light dim.

You do not need one. First upgrade the big 3 on your car and if it still happens, look into a bigger alternator.

Anyways

Stock alt is 105 amps...which just running 800 watts...you shouldnt need to upgrade.

Do the Big 3...that should fix it. If it doesnt upgrade the battery upfront to the biggest size that will fit in your car. That should get rid of rest of the dimming.

Im running a 1500 watt monoblock @ 1ohm with a 105 amp stock alt and a 600 amp battery upfront with the big 3 and am getting slight dimming. Yours should be fine...

My fuse with newbees grows shorter every time one of you guys pop on here and your first post is "do I need a cap?" or "look at the 10K watt amp I just got for $125 off ebay" or "why is my buddies system louder than mine?" or how loud is my system going to be?" shit like that...
