ab500.1 vs Goliath?

hopefully this summer i can get one of these which would be the best for daily driving? 1 hc2000 2 hc2400's and 220amp alt

Also i might be able to get down to .5 ohm so sure i chose the AB? i heard they only do 4700wrms at 1 ohm so at .5 ohm they should be at the 5kwrms mark right? otherwise i will run 1 ohm..

I'm sure both amps are good and put out lots of power. But if I had to choose I would go with the AB. I have seen threads where the goliaths just went up in smoke. This happened to more than just one person iirc. But then again these could be isolated incidents.

Golaiths are good amps they put out more power then a AB 500.1 but from experience with people I know that have had Golaiths and also AB 500.1s I would go with the AB 500.1

seems like the ab's are more reliable but the goliaths put out a little more power.. from what i've seen.

i personally would take the goliath, and run it on a solid electrical.

hmm after reading about them i would say i think the AB would be in for the long haul

i have owned prolly 12 or more 500.1 amps. to say they are bullet proof is an understatement. I am running two of them in my civic right now each one at .35 for daily. As far as i have been told, the goliath will be toast. Maxxsonics has great customer support, and a huge competition team, AB has a small shop feel, and take care of people on more of a one on one approach. the 500.1 FTW

I got 3800 @ 1.4ohm and also at 11.2v
