Ab 120.1?????

anybody have any first hand experience with this amp? any opinions on it and testing results would be great.

i owned one. although i had a longgg issue with an rca problem getting repaired through AB...it was a good little amp that put out power. can run at .5 ohm all day.

what kind of power? and what comparison would this have against the sundown 1500d or IA 20.1

no power tests, and ive never owned nor used an IA or sundown amplifier.

If you notice on AB's page the fuse rateing is off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Both of the 120.1's in my blazer are clamping at around 200A of current draw each when running them:laugh:. You do need a beefed up electrical system to keep them happy. I am powering 2 Re audio MT 18's ( a 120.1 on each) and they will give the mt's a work out:veryhapp:.

There is a video on youtube of a guy testing a 120.1 and a 175.1. I will see if i can find it still. It ran 2725wrms at 1ohm on 14.6v

what kind of power were you clamping and at what voltage?

The current draw was off of a tsunami hybrid 40 farad cap, so it may not be totally accurate I did test each amp with a 1ohm load ( my mt's) and the amp did 51.75volts on a 40hz tone, so around 2678rms

right on seems like a pretty legit amp. just couldnt find any reviews or even any info on this thing.
