I spoke with them a while back and they said the prices should remain about the same. I don't know whether they were trying to pull a Jedi mind trick.

Talked to Chad yesterday. He said they are committed to keeping quality high while keeping price the same (and maybe lowering a few). The Assassin's should see the biggest upgrades. He is a really nice guy with a passion for sound and real world measurements.

Why would someone want to sell AA and not make shit when they can get kicker alpine etc for a markup of 100%+?

a while ago i talked to chad and it made it seem like the arsenal was going to get all the changes and the assassin would stay the same. i was surprised to see any upgrades for the assassin.

I can't post exact prices at this moment, but you will be VERY pleased with where they end up. This is especially true for the two larger subwoofer lines. I would not have made this change if it meant all the prices would go up. As our company gets bigger, we can offer better prices because we are selling more product.

The timeline is always tricky too. The new Assassin drivers may be ready possibly as soon as a couple of weeks. The larger drivers will take a little bit longer to be ready, but everything is already in the works.

The new website is under serious development. Once that goes up shortly, most every question you have will be answered. But to be clear: We would not have posted the new info on the website if things weren't already in motion for the new products etc. They are all designed, finalized and currently in production. It is definitely the best lineup we have ever offered.

the assassin is one of the best bang for the buck subs out right now and especially the 8 so upgrades sounds even better...

and glad to hear they won't go up by much, i'm sure many, many people will like that...

argh, all of this happened the day after I got my 8's...now I cant buy the other 2-4I wanted. Ah well...glad to see Ascendant moving up. They really are a quality company.
